program-friendly food!

I made a chicken-rice casserole for dinner. It had:
• skinless-boneless chicken thighs, diced
• fresh broccoli crowns
• shredded fresh broccoli stalks
• shredded fresh carrots
• shredded fresh celery
• cream of chicken soup
• cream of mushroom soup
• brown rice
• half-used bag of shredded white cheese
• salt and pepper
topping:
• crunched-up Sun Chips (original flavour)
• shredded yellow cheese

I mixed everything in a big bowl, poured into a baking pan, crunched
the chips and cheese on top, and baked at 300*F while I went to my
meeting to give the monthly Intergroup report.

The result was moist, tasty, and satisfying. Next time, I'll add
diced onion and garlic to zip it up a little.

Basically, we scrounged through the pantry and refrigerator and came
up with what we had, and made something halfway decent out of it.

I don't know if I'll have some for breakfast or take it for lunch, but
I'm having some tomorrow.

Is it really truth that we seek, or just a sweet enough lie to settle
our minds so we can sleep at night?
